A messenger first. The polls come to it.
Textly pays you for answering short polls, and that only works if the app is somewhere you already are. So it is a real messenger: every channel in one list, intelligence that runs on the phone itself, and no server of ours that holds your messages.
Every app. One conversation list.
Textly pulls every channel into a single timeline, sorted by what actually just happened rather than by which app it arrived in. You stop checking five badges and read one list.
- WhatsApp, SMS and MMS, Telegram, Discord and Slack in one place
- One person, one thread, whichever app they used today
- One search across everything, including attachments and links
- Connect what you use and skip the rest; every channel is optional
SMS is Android only. Apple provides no interface for it to third-party apps, which is a platform limit rather than a choice. The FAQ sets out what differs.
It catches what you would have missed.
Textly checks every message against the patterns scams share: a link whose domain does not match the brand it claims, a shortener standing in for a real address, a payment demanded under time pressure. Suspicious threads go to Spam before you open them. Appointments, invoices and parcels get lifted out of the text and collected on one screen. Everything you have ever received stays one search away.
- Scam detection by rule, not by guess. Fixed signals with fixed weights, so the same message always gets the same verdict.
- Appointments, invoices, parcels, contacts and promises, recognised by pattern and shown as cards.
- Full-text search across every channel, running against the encrypted database on your phone.
- All of it works in airplane mode, because none of it needs a server.
Pattern matching has limits. A scam written carefully enough will pass, and an unusual date format can be missed. Textly sorts and flags. It does not decide for you.
Your inbox already knows your week.
Appointments, invoices, parcels and promises are sitting in your messages as plain text. Textly recognises them where they are and offers to act, which is different from deciding for you.
- An appointment becomes a calendar entry once you confirm it
- An invoice is flagged with its amount and due date, never paid automatically
- A parcel number becomes a tracking link, without an account anywhere
- Nothing is filed, moved or answered behind your back
We can't read your messages.
Every other inbox that sorts your messages does it on a server. Textly has no server for message content to arrive at. Sorting, scam detection and search all run on your phone, against a database only your device can read.
- No Textly account, no profile, no advertising identifier, no tracking SDK
- Messages and derived data are stored encrypted in the phone's own key storage
- Channel credentials stay in the Android Keystore; we never receive them
- Uninstalling leaves your SMS where they were, in the system message store
Two things are outside our control and we say so plainly: SMS travels through your mobile operator, and a connected channel talks to that provider's own servers exactly as their app does. The privacy policy is the document that states all of this as a commitment.
One inbox. On your device.
Every channel in one list, the intelligence running on the phone, and the polls arriving where you already are.
